The ACS1 Coupé has been elected Sportscar of the Year 2009 by the readers of "Auto Bild sportscars"

"Auto Bild sportscars" has now published the results of its reader survey "Sportscars 2009". 51,000 readers elected the 1-series Coupé by AC Schnitzer into 1st place in the tuner category "Compacts". A total of 80 vehicles were nominated in 16 different categories.

The 1-series Coupé by AC Schnitzer not only scooped 37.9% of all votes to win the category decisively - but it even scored the second highest number of votes amongst all vehicles in the entire reader survey. Only the Gemballa Mirage GT attracted more votes (41.4%).

We would like to thank all participating readers of "Auto Bild sportscars" for their confidence in us, and are delighted to receive this honour in recognition of all the hard work which goes into the development of AC Schnitzer components. This award strengthens our resolve to continue to stay true to our principles.
