R nineT by AC Schnitzer
The link between classic and modern, the balance between tradition and new technology - all this is incorporated to perfection in the BMW R nineT. So fittingly, AC Schnitzer presents the HERITAGE range for you to create your own personal "Mademoiselle Ninette".

The new AC S10 forged alloy wheel, initially available exclusively for the BMW R nineT, gives the rider an even better feel for the machine. Less weight and the associated reduction in centrifugal forces give the machine further improved dynamics. A lower unsprung mass, better steering behaviour and exquisite looks complete the package.
Wheel designs must always fulfil two contradictory requirements. Firstly, the weight should be reduced ever further, while secondly the demands for stability increase. In the R nineT, AC Schnitzer has taken two more important points into account. A wider rear tyre must be possible, and the design must be modern while retaining traditional elements. A 190 or even a 200 size tyre can be fitted to the rear 6-inch rim, while the front retains the standard size.
The centrally positioned license plates holder not only shortens the tail optically, but also has a noble brake / rear light combination. The wiring harness is supplied ready assembled and comes as a plug and play part with suitable plugs. The hole pattern does not require any additional holes as in the series version.
The AC Schnitzer STEALTH silencer with matt black shell and brushed stainless steel end cap not only offers a weight saving of around 3 kg and 2 hp more power. With its conical shape, it also stylishly continues the classic line. Its EC-approved deep Boxer sound gives the R nineT a very powerful signature. But if you want an even fuller sound, there's the unlicensed "flap replacement pipe" or the decat AC Schnitzer performance manifolds. Both can be fitted in conjunction with the standard or other aftermarket silencers.
AC Schnitzer Clip Ons are individually adjustable in 3 axes, and can therefore be adapted to the rider while offering maximum sporting performance. Here again, the black anodized aluminium is enhanced with silver milling. Together with the HERITAGE fork bridge but also with the standard component, these are a must for the R nineT. With component certificate.
The AC Schnitzer replacement footrests systematically continue the styling lines. The grippy black rests have a round cross-section, and are available both as a complete kit for rider and passenger, or separately for front and rear. The non-slip edge ensures a secure footing, while the weight remains significantly lower than the standard part. With ABE general licence.
If you're using a side registration plate holder, you'll need a solution for the standard rear. AC Schnitzer offers a neat alternative. The new inner lining provides eyelets for the luggage straps and retains the functions of the standard part. Attaches to the standard fixings, with no cutting or drilling required.
A handwheel for adjusting the rear spring strut, with a higher quality feel than the standard diecast part. This was the development goal for the AC Schnitzer component. Here again, high strength aluminium, black anodized and finally relief-milled in silver, is used. The result is fast installation, good ergonomics and a look which is pleasing to the eye.
The Touratech Suspension high-end spring strut is perfectly tailored to the BMW R nineT. For fast cornering or touring with friends, this sophisticated spring strut can be adapted to the load and riding conditions at any time. From sporting dynamic riding through to touring with panniers and/or social riding - any load can be compensated by the very wide adjustment range.
The machine's balance can be restored easily and quickly via the handwheel using the hydraulic spring pretension. The ultra-finely adjustable damping on the expansion tank allows an effective and precise suspension setting which is perfectly adapted to your personal riding style. For every road surface and every purpose, on motorways/dual carriageways, A or B roads, or for lively and ambitious riding styles.
The *CSC* steering damper gives your BMW R nineT far more stability, so you can ride with less fatigue and greater safety. Features of the Touratech Suspension *CSC* steering damper:

The Touratech Suspension fork springs on the BMW R nineT were developed with the best possible partner in Hyperpro. The fork of the BMW R nineT has been perfectly optimised for fine response behaviour with high reserves and sporting handling. The fork springs of the BMW R nineT are fully progressive over the entire length, giving you:
optimum damping comfort over the entire spring travel of the fork
maximum tyre grip and clean feedback from the road at all times
damping reserves at high damping frequency and on poor road surfaces, through to complete protection from shocks
perfect set-up of the fork for fast cornering or straight cruising

The registration plate holder is of course with component certificate, and is also available without the crash protection. The fixings correspond to the original holes in the registration plate. When we designed the AC Schnitzer registration plate holder, we thought it was important not simply to make a component out of sheet steel or tubular steel, but to create a special design which meets the same high quality standards as the remainder of the R nineT.
The AC Schnitzer Heritage Shield tank cover not only protects the easily scratched areas close to the ignition lock and the rider's seat, but its "checkered flag“ design also looks great. The familiar black-and-white flag pays homage to the first Boxer Sprintin Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where - if it is revived - there'll be plenty of R nineT´s.
For the cardan angle gear, you can fit a crash pad (also in milled style, PN S700-68812-15) for the end drive either as a separate component or - see above - in conjunction with the AC Schnitzer registration plate holder. An ideal, quality solution for centrally mounted registration plates which reliably protects from costly and annoying damage. The combination of stable carrier made of high quality aluminium and a damping plastic absorber not only protects but also looks great.
When converting to handlebar stumps, the fixings of the handlebar block on the original fork bridge are no longer required and are left open. Because this doesn't look professional, we've developed 2 caps (PN S700-68810-11) to help draw the eye "straight down" to the fork bridge again. The mirror extensions (PN BK02) improve the rearward visibility. They move the standard mirrors approx. 3 mm further out, which helps greatly when wearing a bulky jacket or rain suit. The oil filler neck cap (PN S700-68781-15) is the "final" element completing the HERITAGE range.
