A special engine concept demands a special oil – this is the policy adopted by the premium lubricant manufacturer from Switzerland. As an example, design features of BMW’s four-valve boxer engine, including the oil-to-air cooler, the cylinder arrangement, the dry clutch and the position of the camshafts, place very high demands on the oil.
MOTOREX has taken these and other special features of the boxer into account and developed MOTOREX Boxer 4T Motor Oil with a viscosity of SAE 15W/50, the composition and molecular structure of which are perfectly matched to the technical criteria. The new high-tech oil provides the best possible heat regulation in the boxer engine, offers effective prevention against premature wear to the running surfaces of cylinders, crankshafts and camshafts and prevents both corrosion and deposits inside the engine.
The synthetic MOTOREX Boxer 4T Motor Oil guarantees a stable lubricating film and constantly high oil pressure at all engine speeds. It lowers the friction in the engine significantly and reduces fuel consumption. The new high-performance engine oil also improves the performance of the boxer engine and allows the engine to rev more freely, thus giving a better dynamic performance for all engine speed ranges. What is more, the new lubricant also reduces engine oil consumption, offers outstanding thermal stability and protects both gaskets and seals.
Extensive tests conducted in cooperation with AC Schnitzer, the Aachen-based BMW tuning specialist, guarantee maximum performance and the excellent quality typical for MOTOREX products.
The new MOTOREX Boxer 4T Motor Oil can be purchased at larger dealers, where it will be available in 1 litre or 4 litre containers.
