In collaboration with WP Suspension, AC Schnitzer has developed suspension solutions for BMW motorcycles. And as the quotation from Ernst Leverkus suggests, we test every component on the North Loop of the Nürburgring. Only what proves successful here will handle every situation in day to day traffic.

Optimum transfer of power with no loss of comfort: these are the two apparently incompatible demands on our development work. Rider-optimised solutions, such as e.g. the lowered suspension for the F 800 model range, and innovative technology such as in EDS suspension, demonstrate the performance of our suspension components. Matched to rider weight and available with hydraulic spring pretension as an option.

Firstly, the rider adjusts the preload according to the load and type of load on the bike. In doing this, the rider must differentiate between "solo", "solo with baggage or passenger" and "with passenger and baggage".

Secondly, the rider can adjust the suspension to his/her riding style. There is a choice of "sport", "normal" and "comfort" on the controls. The suspension is also adjustable while riding. Hereby the rebound is adjusted on the front shock absorber and the rebound and compression on the rear. The rider can always check his choosen setting on the control panel.

Through this new system WP Suspension has achieved an efficient contribution towards increased safety and comfort on the road.

The EDS-System will come with all necessary attachments like for example special mount for control panel or wiring harness with add. relais. We also supply you with a detailed owners manual.
