Material/Assembly The AC Schnitzer aluminium footrest is made of aluminium alloy (AlMgSi) and is matt-anodized after milling. The aluminium footrest is screwed onto an adapter plate made of polyoxymethylene (abbreviation POM). POM is a particularly stable and low-wear plastic that is used to manufacture precision parts. The form-bonded, slip-resistant rubber insert made of thermoplastic elastomer TPE is inserted between the adapter plate and the aluminium footrest and fixed in place by the screw connection.
