At the same time, however, they also have a real effect: they increase the downforce on the front and/or rear axle and thus provide additional grip. Only high-quality composite materials are used in the production of our AC Schnitzer aerodynamic components. Because only these materials meet our high quality standards. Material: ASA (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate) ASA is a highly technical polymer for outdoor use. This plastic is characterized by its particularly high strength, rigidity and weather resistance. ASA owes these properties to its special ingredient: acrylic ester rubber. We process ASA as a sheet material, i.e. the parts are milled "from the solid material". This also produces the high-quality, matt-glossy and scratch-resistant black surface that is typical of ASA. The surface of ASA does not require any further surface treatment; AC Schnitzer aerodynamic components made of ASA can be installed directly. Of course, painting is still possible on request. After the surface of the ASA material has been pre-treated, it can be painted in any color. Creative design PUR, ASA or carbon: at AC Schnitzer, all design drafts come from a real Italian artist: Michele Viandante; he has been the head designer at AC Schnitzer for many years. Of course, his designs are not only beautiful, they also have to prove themselves: for example, many parts are tested for their functionality in the wind tunnel. Report The parts report is an official document that allows the use of tuning parts on public roads within the framework of the StVZO in Germany (and some other countries). After the part described in the report has been installed or modified, the vehicle must be presented to an official testing center. The inspector determines that the part has been installed correctly and is authentic and then enters the modification in the vehicle documents. The vehicle's official operating license therefore remains valid. The parts report is part of the scope of delivery.
